Former Post Guild Member Matt Mosk Leaving Wash. Times for ABC’s Investigative Unit

WASHINGTON — Given the uncertainty right now at the Washington Times, it’s inevitable that some reporters and editors are going to start looking for other opportunities.

Matthew Mosk, who joined the paper from the Washington Post over the summer, is heading to ABC News as an investigative reporter. He’ll be working within Brian Ross’s investigative unit, and will remain based in Washington.

“We’ve been trying to recruit him for some time,” Ross said by phone.

Ross pointed out Mosk’s “great track record” at the Post, while adding that his newest staffer also has the distinction of once editing ABC colleague Jake Tapper. (Mosk was editor of Dartmouth’s paper while Tapper was a cartoonist).
